Along with camping at Prabalamachi, on same day climb the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ - Kalavantin Durg. Be cautious and walk slowly as on one side a deep valley stares at you as you climb up the strong steps that have endured the test of time. On the peak, a small rock patch awaits you, scale it and you will be rewarded with magnificent views, gentle breeze and the feeling of accomplishment.

On the next day. Explore the beautiful Prabalgad hill fort. Enjoy walking through the forest, locating birds, reptiles and small mammals that inhabit this densely wooded patch of land, the ruins of the fort, temples, tanks and other fortifications that take you back to the time of the Marathas.
